Scott Bowman

Raised in Topeka, I went to K-State to be a civil engineer. That lasted a semester. I found my passion for storytelling in the English department and later the student paper. So I graduated with an English Creative Writing and print journalism degrees. I bounced around freelancing some and worked some customer service jobs until I became a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, which meant I could program. So I worked as a software developer for a few years and wanted more out of my work life.

I started Skizzle by doing some websites and marketing and fell in love with video. Honestly, I always loved video and movies, and it was always a dream, and so during COVID I honed my craft. I learned to not just cut video and toss in a music track, but how to truly edit: To color correct, color grade, editing techniques, sound engineering, and more.

Now I have a job telling stories not just creatively, but technically through video.
