Growing up in St. Joseph, MO I ventured to Kansas City to go to college and never looked back. After a 30-year career in banking, focused primarily in retail and commercial automotive lending, I accepted a buy out and decided to return to the Kansas City area after a 15-year absence.
We explored franchise opportunities and after a thorough search I decided to invest in Mr. Handyman. My interest in home repair and maintenance coupled with my business background worked well together. We opened our business in May of 2020. It was a challenging time to open a business, but we survived and just celebrated our 4th year in business.
I have been married to my wife Kathy for 39 years and we have three adult children. We have been blessed with two grandchildren who we get to spoil. My son, Kyle, works in the business as our project manager.
We are glad we made the move back to Kansas City and look forward to many successful years.

In addition, all our services professionals are employees and we do not utilize subcontractors.
