I began my career in education, serving as a principal before transitioning into the world of design and leadership. My journey started in a small furniture and flooring store, where I worked as a buyer and marketing specialist, before advancing to the role of general manager at a $20 million furniture retailer. Driven by my passion for home interiors, I later opened my own store specializing in design, paint, flooring, and accessories, helping clients create beautiful and functional spaces.

My career then took me to Southwest Florida, where I became the sales manager for a $40 million design and furniture company, overseeing the draperies and window treatments department across four locations. Eventually, I returned to Kansas City, bringing my expertise in design and business development to Solar Shield Blinds—the premier window treatment company in KC! Now, I focus on building strong relationships, helping clients transform their spaces, and ensuring they receive the best in quality and service.
