When I was in college, I was fortunate to complete a co-op internship with the Central Intelligence Agency in Langley, Virginia. Yes, I did have Top Secret security clearance because I was around classified information. I learned to keep private information private. Although I loved my time in Washington DC, I was from the Midwest and that is where I wanted to be. It is ironic that after 20 years working in the corporate world, my career path would lead me back to a different type of classified information, the financial industry.
Much like my desire to return to the Midwest, Ted Jones wanted his financial advisors to provide meaningful service to people living in small towns. De Soto, Kansas, is where I ended up. I truly enjoy helping business owners that never have the time to plan an exit strategy, to families who just want to know what retirement looks like and even retirees that want to protect what they have worked so hard for.
If retirement, an exit strategy, or protecting your savings has been on your mind.
